Solution

In version 6009 the Layers of the ExternalRefences are saved in vdml,vdcl , dwg/dxf format.

Developer can access the ExternalReference layers in an ExternalReference block from the following collection:

block->ExternalReference->Layers

Deleveloper can set as FrozenLayer in FrozenLayerList of a vdViewPort a layer which is belong into an ExternalReference Drawing by adding a Layer name in the following form:

BlockNameofXref | LayerName (Separeting two names by "|").
