Support of NET CORE 6


From version 10.1001 NET CORE 6 is supported by VectorDraw.

Guide for how to start a new .NET CORE 6 project with VectorDraw Libraries.

1. Open a Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 and choose to create a new '.Net Windows Forms Application', and press next until the new application is ready.

2. Right click on the dependencies of the project and choose 'Add Project Reference..'

3. Click on the 'Browse' button and choose the 'vdFramedControl.dll' from your hard disk, and click on the 'OK' button.

4. Right click on the project and choose the 'Edit Project file'.

5. Find the ItemGroup which contains the paths of the VectorDraw Libraries and replace it with the new 'VDRAWDEV' like the image bellow:

6. Right click again on the project, choose 'Properties' -> Build -> Events -> Post-build event, type "$(VDRAWDEV)vdlic.exe" "$(TargetPath)" -c and save.

7. Right click on 'Form1.cs' and choose 'View Code'. Type after the Form1 constructor 'vdControls.vdFramedControl myControl = new vdControls.vdFramedControl();' which add a new vdFramedControl on our Form.
Bellow the 'InitializeComponent();' type also 'myControl.Dock = DockStyle.Fill;' in order the vfFramedControl to fill the Form window and also type 'Controls.Add(myControl);' which adds our control to Controls collection like:

8. After we have done all previous steps, Save All, Build the Solution and run our project. The result must be like the image:
